VILLAGE OF SANDS POINT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
The Mayor and
Village Board are closely monitoring with Village staff the ongoing
developments related to the coronavirus public health crisis. To make sure
that all of our residents and employees remain safe and healthy, and to
minimize, to the extent we can, the exposure to and spread of the virus, we
are taking the following actions consistent with the most current advice and
guidance from the Federal, State, County, and health care authorities:
Village Office
shall be closed to the public effective immediately, but Village Staff will
be in place; you may still access the various departments by phone or email.

requiring additional actions to be taken, or activities curtailed, and we
will advise our residents of any changes or other actions taken in
conformity with advice from our partners in government and public health
care authorities. We are committed to making sure that all Village services
remain intact to the extent possible. We appreciate your cooperation and
patience as we work our way through this unprecedented set of circumstances.

GENERATORS:
Backup generators should
only be operated outdoors and away from windows to prevent the
accumulation of deadly carbon monoxide in your home. Before
operating generators, be sure to disconnect from
PSE&G'S
system by shutting off the main breaker located in the electric
service panel. Failure to do this could jeopardize the safety of
crews working to restore power.
